Die Earth Building Association of Australia (EBAA) ist der nationale Dachverband für Lehmbau in Australien und vertritt seit 1990 Praktiker, Hersteller, Planer und Selbstbauer rund um ungebrannte Erde. Sie deckt das gesamte Methodenspektrum ab, von Lehmziegel (Mudbrick) und Stampflehm (Rammed Earth, in Australien meist zementstabilisiert) bis Wellerlehm (Cob) und gepresste Erdziegel (CEB).
Klassifikations-Begründung
EBAA ist ein Dachverband, der das gesamte Spektrum ungebrannter Erde abdeckt und keine Technik bevorzugt. Die offizielle Methoden-Seite beschreibt Erdbaustoffe ausdruecklich als verarbeitbar 'with or without any stabilising additive' und haelt zugleich fest: 'Rammed Earth walls in Australia are generally 300mm thick, are cement stabilised with 5% to 10% cement.' Damit dokumentiert der Verband sowohl unstabilisierte als auch zementstabilisierte Praxis nebeneinander, ohne Wertung. Lager somit gemischt -> hybrid.
